Building & Grounds
Our building and grounds team cares does an excellent job of making our church a beautiful setting for our ministries. They gather on Thursday evenings to nurture our flowerbeds and mows the yard. We invite you to join in the fun. You can adopt a section of the flower beds, and/or come on Thursday evenings to help mow and trim the yard.
The Chair of our Board of Trustees said, “These are the many manly machines that the Trustees use for mowing the lawn and blowing snow.”
Care Ministry Team
The Care Ministry reaches out to shut is, the sick, and people who are celebrating special events in their lives. This includes people who are residents of nursing homes or people living in their own home but are physically unable to attend worship. The greetings which are sent include, but are not limited to, birthday, thinking of you, and get well cards. Get well and sympathy acknowledgements are also sent to other members of the congregation. For several years the Care Ministry has made visitations and delivered poinsettias during the Christmas season to the list of individuals who are on the Care Ministry list. In the spring confirmation and graduation cards are given to the young people of the church.
Care Ministry also serves the lunches following the funerals/memorial services at Fargo Faith. The lunches range from cookies and bars only to sandwiches, salads, and cookies and bars. A nominal fee is charged for setting-up, serving the lunch and cleaning up afterwards. This fee plus donations of money and cards is what funds the Care Ministry. The Care Ministry would welcome new people to join our team.
Media Team
Social media is an important communication tool. It’s a wonderful way to remain connected with the people of our church and for people who are searching for meaning. We need volunteers who will help us use this important tool to reach people who are non-Christian’s and nominal Christian’s.
Worship Team
We have a dedicated team of people working to design and lead our worship services. The worship experience begins when you arrive at the church door. It’s important to have friendly and welcoming people serving as greeters, ushers, and in our technology booth. We invite you to use your gifts to make worship meaningful for others.
